Refund policy.

InReality Studios is a service of PT Inreality Solusi Inovatif, an Indonesian-registered company serving fashion brands globally. This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for our image packs and subscription plans.

We have written this policy to be as clear and fair as possible. If anything is unclear, contact us at hello@inrealitystudios.com before purchasing.

Our commitment

Every image we deliver goes through human quality control before it reaches you. If you are not happy with an image, our first response is to revise it, not refund it — every pack includes unlimited revisions until you are satisfied. We believe that fixing the work is almost always better for both of us than ending the relationship.

That said, we understand that sometimes a refund is the right outcome. The sections below explain when refunds apply and how to request one.

One-off image packs (Starter, Drop, Catalog)

This section applies to our one-time pack purchases:

2.1 Change of mind before any work has started

If you have purchased a pack but have not yet uploaded any images for production, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Email us at hello@inrealitystudios.com with your order number and we will process the refund within 5 business days.

After 14 days, change-of-mind refunds are no longer available on unused packs.

2.2 Refunds on undelivered images

If we have delivered part of your pack but not all of it, and you wish to cancel the remainder, we will refund the pro-rated value of the undelivered images. For example, if you purchased the Catalog pack (30 images at AUD $269 / AUD $8.99 per image) and we have delivered 12 images, you are eligible for a refund of AUD $161.82 (18 undelivered images × AUD $8.99) provided the request is made within 14 days of the most recent image delivery.

2.3 Refunds on delivered images you are unhappy with

We offer unlimited revisions on every delivered image. Before requesting a refund on a delivered image, we ask that you:

If after good-faith revisions you still cannot use the images we have delivered, we will refund the affected images at the per-image rate of the pack you purchased. Refund requests under this section must be made within 14 days of the final image delivery for the pack.

2.4 What we cannot refund

Retainer subscription (AUD $499 per month)

This section applies to our monthly retainer plan (60 images per month).

3.1 Cancelling your subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard at inrealitystudios.com/dashboard/billing or by emailing hello@inrealitystudios.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

After cancellation:

3.2 No mid-cycle refunds (standard practice)

Once a monthly billing cycle has begun, we do not refund the current month even if you cancel partway through. This is standard practice for subscription services and reflects the fact that we hold production capacity for you each month.

You can continue to use your 60 images until the end of the cycle, and we will continue to deliver to you in priority queue until then.

3.3 First-cycle goodwill refund

We understand that subscriptions are a commitment, and we want you to feel comfortable trying our service. If you cancel within 7 days of your first retainer charge and you have not yet used more than 10 of your 60 images, we will refund the first month in full as goodwill.

This goodwill clause applies only to your first retainer cycle. Subsequent cycles are governed by section 3.2.

3.4 Quality concerns on retainer images

The revision process described in section 2.3 applies equally to retainer customers. We will revise any image until you are satisfied. If, after revisions, you remain dissatisfied with specific images, we will credit those images back to your account so they can be re-briefed and re-produced — or, at our discretion, refund the per-image value (calculated at AUD $8.32 per image for retainer customers).

3.5 Unused images at end of cycle

Retainer customers may carry over unused images for one additional month. After that, unused images expire — we cannot accumulate unused capacity indefinitely because our production pipeline runs on monthly capacity allocation. Unused images that expire are not refundable.

The free pilot offer

If you have used our free pilot offer (send 3 flatlays, get 3 finished images at no cost), no payment has been taken and there is nothing to refund.

If you are not happy with your free pilot images, we will offer to redo them once at no charge. After the second attempt, the free pilot offer is considered complete.

How to request a refund

To request a refund:

We will respond to your refund request within 2 business days and, if approved, process the refund within 5 business days.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at purchase. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund may take an additional 3 to 10 business days to appear on your statement. We have no control over that timeline.

Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us first before raising a dispute with your card issuer or bank. We resolve the overwhelming majority of concerns through direct communication, and our refund policy above is generous in scope.

Australian Consumer Law

For customers in Australia: this Refund Policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies your statutory rights under the ACL or any other applicable consumer protection law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at inrealitystudios.com/refund-policy. We will note the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.

If you have an active retainer subscription at the time we update this policy, the policy in effect at the time of your most recent renewal continues to apply for your current billing cycle.
